Silicone Cases

Please post a link to any silicone cases you can find online. I'm desperately in need of one as I could find none locally.

I mean basically the only other post in this category is me talking about cases....But ok other then sprint.com or the sprint store that sells silicone cases here is one: DLO - Jam Jacket for Samsung Instinct Cell Phone - Black - 004-3025

Hehe... well, I was thinking perhaps having a thread for each type instead of having one thread in one topic.

No offense at all... just trying to make things easier to find for others when the time comes.

to be honest, I dont know which to get. I think the plastic ones may be too bulky while the silicone may not fit well and be flimsy. I am going to best buy tomorrow and getting that one I posted. Maybe also get one of the screen protectors as well. I saw the sprint store silicone cases and was not impressed. I mean they are only 20 bucks so if it does not work well I can return it or just find something else I suppose

Incidentally, I saw the silicone case today, but Best Buy only received one, and a person who arrived after me got it because the clerk helped them first.

I have been using silicone cases on my iPods and on my Zune for years, and they tend to be quite smug and great protection. I prefer them over the hard cases because they seem to be less bulky and the fact it gives a bit when dropped makes me think it's possibly better in case the phone gets dropped.

duely noted. I agree. I have a case for my ipod from Speck and it is great but they have zippy plans of making anything for the instinct. I am sure bestbuy will have more with their next shipment, I will let you know how it fits when I get it tomorrow if you want to know.

I got the one from best buy, fits perfectly and seems to offer decent protection on the sides and battery cover. For $20 it will work. There are cut outs for charging and ear piece. For what it is worth, with the cover on it will not slide into the case that came with the phone. It does provide a better grip when handling the phone. All in all, seems like a nice product unless I find something superior.

Thanks, MD_instinct. I went to a few Best Buys and Sprint Stores today and again no luck in finding the silicone case. I guess I'll just have to wait a while longer. Also, every Best Buy and Sprint Store I went to was sold out on the Instincts. One Best Buy told me they were getting about 20 a day and selling out every day, and some Best Buys have lists to call when more Instincts arrive.

Maybe buying 4 Instincts at once is coming back to bite you in the arse. Only joking. That is strange though that all of the cases are sold out, the best buy I went to had 6 or so left. I bought the screen protectors that you cut down to size and stick to the screen, can't really tell it is there so now the phone is double bagged so to say. It looks fine with the silicone case so I am happy with it.
