Instinct Application Updates Live
Sprint has "turned on" application updates for the Instinct. Instead of checking for updates, Sprint will begin pushing updates to the Instinct. The plan is to push updates for Picture Mail, the web browser, Sprint TV and Radio, Sprint Navigation, Sprint Email, Sprint Music Store, Visual Voicemail and Mobile Sync.
Do not expect all the applications to be updated at the same time. Sprint has released the "go" signal to vendors, so it should happen sooner than later for each of the applications listed above. As you run the application, you'll be prompted to upgrade. The upgrades will happen OTA (over the air).
Outside of improved stability and bug fixes, there has been no official word on what to expect from the individual updates. Let us know how you are faring with the updates in our Instinct forums. Not a member, register today and join our growing community.
